Welcome to the Jacob Strong 615 Foundation, a beacon of hope and empowerment for pre-teens, teens, and young adults navigating the often turbulent waters of mental health. Too many families are shattered by this devastating loss each year, often suffering in silence without the support they need. We established this foundation to be a beacon of suicide prevention help in Middle Tennessee—to raise awareness, provide resources, and ensure no family ever has to walk this path alone.
Caregivers and parents play crucial roles in teen’s suicide prevention and mental health. They are in an excellent position to offer support for young adults with a mental health disorder or are experiencing suicidal thoughts, encourage them to seek professional help, and assist in keeping them safe. Our resources offer mental health information to educate and guide those who live with teens. Your engagement can save lives and empower generations to come.
Loki was Jacob’s inseparable companion from the moment we brought him home. Though tragically, Jacob was only a year older when he passed, their bond was profound. We gifted Loki to Jacob to offer solace during his brother’s college departure in the fall of 2022. Jacob embraced his role as Loki’s caretaker with unwavering dedication, imparting countless tricks and endless affection. Today, Loki carries forward the legacy of their bond, still performing tricks taught by Jacob and offering unwavering companionship. A gentle giant with a love for playtime and cuddles, Loki has blossomed into a cherished member of our community, serving as an ambassador and a heartwarming reminder of Jacob’s spirit.
The Jacob Strong 615 Foundation is a nonprofit organization that safeguards mental health and prevents suicide for our Middle Tennessee’s young adults and teens, offering them the support and skills they require to succeed today and tomorrow.

In the heart of every tragedy, there is a seed of hope. At Jacob Strong 615, we believe in nurturing this seed to create a beacon of light that guides those lost in the darkness towards a path of healing and understanding. Our foundation was born from a profound loss, the loss of our beloved son, Jacob. His life was tragically cut short by suicide in 2023, leaving us with an indescribable void.
However, we chose to transform our grief into action, to ensure that no other family has to endure such pain. The Foundation that bears his name works to assist young people and families recognize the warning signs of mental illness through various avenues including support, mental health awareness, and resources.
