Meet Jacob

Jacob’s passing was an unexpected and profound blow to our family, one that has left a void that words can scarcely fill. Known for his boundless compassion, sharp wit, and remarkable intelligence, Jacob had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and understood. His laughter could light up a room, and his ability to find humor in the darkest moments provided solace and joy to those who knew him. Jacob’s kindness extended beyond his family; he had a unique talent for connecting with people on a deep level, always offering a listening ear or a heartfelt word of encouragement.  For his parents, Joanne and Steve, and his older brother Lane, the shock of losing Jacob to suicide has been almost unbearable. Each day presents a new challenge as they navigate the complex landscape of grief while holding onto the cherished memories of a son and brother who brought so much love and light into their lives. Despite their pain, they remember Jacob with immense pride and gratitude for the time they had with him. His memory continues to inspire them to seek out the goodness in the world, a testament to the incredible person Jacob was and the enduring impact he made on those who were fortunate enough to know him.
